With 2008 just around the corner, Bodog is poised to continue its growth into new markets. Not only are we getting ready to launch new marketing campaigns, but also our dedicated team of developers has been working on creating the best experience for our players.
New bodog Poker Client:
A few weeks ago we emailed you a preview of our new poker client, and on November 1st, we proudly launched it into the market. The new client is now available to all players; however our existing players can continue using our previous client. Some of the new features include:
- Layout provides easier to follow action from player to player
- Cards are better positioned and sized
- The player who is ’on action’ is highlighted with a soft spotlight and a count down timer
- Multiple felt color options are available with brightness controls
- Chip stacks and bet values are clearly marked in denomination
- Centralized ’Dash Board’ lays out the player’s controls for each hand action

We would like to thank you for your support during our domain changes. We realize that it’s no small task to update your site and all your links – THANK YOU! We have noticed that there are still banners or images of Bodog.com (linking correctly to bodoglife.com) on some sites. To ensure brand consistency, and reduce confusion for players, we ask you to please continue to update these images. All new banners are available in the resources section.
We’ve noticed that sites which have made the changes have experienced greater conversion rates (due to less confusion for the players) – resulting in higher commissions.
Internationalization
Bodog always looks to strategically expand its business, and our plans to target international markets are no different. Our software developers have been working on back–end capabilities to improve our product offerings internationally. Look out for new and exciting developments in early 2008!
